02Aug08 - Guide Greg Boyd and I drifted the Delaware River.  We caught stripers and smallmouths.  We fished daybreak to mid-day.  Size 18-16 caddis started the day early by creating surface activity as small minnows, presumably baby shad, were feeding.  Productive flies included poppers, bunny flies and Clouser darters.  Conditions were overcast, including an occasion shower with slightly discolored water.
