- A good weekend on the Salmon River in
Pulaski, NY. I fished both days with
friends, guide Greg Boyd and Richard Walp.
Saturday had more fishermen and a third less
on Sunday. Most fish were caught in
the early morning. Successful patterns
included chartreuse estaz patterns and
purple egg-sucking leech patterns. In
total, I managed 7 hookups and landed 2
fish, one a King salmon and the other a
steelhead. Pictured below are some of
the great shots taken from this weekend.
.

My only landed
salmon, estimated between 20 and 25 pounds.

- Fishing Martha's Vineyard was hard this
week for Stan Lupo, Bill Hayes, Wally
Miechowski and Steve Walthius. Each
angler caught between 4-9 fish which
included either schoolie bass, blues to
eight pounds or a mix. Fishing
included boat fishing and finding fish on
top was the hard part. Charter
captains were hooking-up with bait fished
deep.
