8Sep05 -
I made it to the Little Lehigh Creek (PA)
both Saturday and Sunday, however I had more
time to fish on Sunday. The conditions
improved from Saturday into Sunday as the
stream flow dropped from approximately 85 to
55 CFS and water clarity improved. The water
was still slightly discolored and the
hatches were non-existent. I fished from
2:00 till 5:00 and had luck using a size 16
Oliver Edward's Rhycophila Pupa and a size
10 Olive Wooly Bugger. Other flies used
included a size 16 Oliver Edward's Hydropsyche Larva, size 22 Trico, a size 16
Sulphur Spotlight Emerger and a size 16
Light Cahill. Overall, fishing was slow.

- I fished Lake Nockamixon's Fishing Pier
for an hour in the evening. I ran a large
Deceiver through the water in hopes of
finding something sizable, but in the end I
settled for bluegills caught on a small
larva pattern. The day was beautiful.
